For more complicated accounts, the scope of our loss control efforts is
determined largely by the circumstances of the particular business. While
we typically recommend certain activities, we encourage a consultation to
achieve the best possible outcome. The list below describes some of those
elements that can be incorporated in arriving at a unique service plan:

A schedule of visits by our loss control staff to evaluate current
conditions and safety habits.

Standard loss runs generated periodically in cooperation with your insurance
agent to review past incidents and identify recurrent patterns.

Detailed diagnostic loss analyses that provide data by location and/or type
of injury and point out sources of claim frequency or severity problems.

Help in setting up safety awareness campaigns to promote the prevention
of accidents.

Assistance in the development and training of a formal safety committee
which can administer: the investigation, documentation, and reporting
of accidents; the use of preventive strategies such as self-inspections
to recognize common hazards; and the implementation of incentive programs
such as competitions and contests.
